This class is a continuation of our Beginning Drawing class which will add the exciting concept of value equals shape to create three-dimensional artwork. Students will be introduced to drawing tools, different types of pencils and discuss H pencil leads vs B pencil leads. You will learn how to apply various tonal effects by varying your pressure. You will also learn the importance of atmospheric perspective and answer questions like: How do you Draw Fog? You don’t! You draw VALUES! I will teach you with exciting demonstrations as well as show you some of my works. You will learn how to home in your new skills, such as scenery to indicate atmospheric perspective, and portraiture that will challenge your skills to their highest levels.
