We begin by mastering the essentials equipment safety, proper layering, and the foundational “fusing” process. From there, each week introduces a sophisticated new technique, including:
• Botanical Embedding: Encapsulating leaves and pressed flowers.
• Mixed Media: Incorporating printed papers and found objects.
• Texture & Depth: Techniques for building tactile surfaces and carving.
• Image Transfer & Inlay: Merging photography with wax and mastering the "encaustic inlay."
